I felt bad for Seinfeld and the lady hugger, it was AWKWARD to witness a hugger go after a non-hugger, although, Jerry denies he doesn't hug, he just prefers to know the person.
I am extremely uncomfortable in these hugging situations. I have been known to sneak out of gatherings just to avoid the goodbye hugs. Shaking hands in church had some influence to my atheism, I'm sure. I just want to crawl up and roll away when I see PDA's, especially with... no, pretty much with everyone. My sister is a hugger. When her outlaw side gets together it takes half an hour for everyone to get the hugging over. I'm not saying it's bad, but the non-huggers are put in a position where they are perceived as uncaring, unfriendly, anti-social beings. Not true. Except for the anti-social part, I am a friendly gal. Just don't come at me with your arms open wide, expecting to be reciprocated with a smile and arms akimbo. You will most likely get a glare, a stare and a back, retreating to the nearest exit. So, in conclusion, don't hate non-huggers. Let the stupid hug/slug fest go. For me and Jerry, think before you act.
