Books I Reviewed But Barely Read

Before we begin, this post is rigged.

I took out three books from library last week. I could only manage to read one straight through.

Trump Revealed: Really nothing we haven't heard before, yet quite a lot left out such as accusations by women who claim Trump groped them.

Steve Martini, Blood Flag. OMG, so fricking boring. Lousy writer. Ugh.

D.L. Hughley, Black Man, White House. I think it's supposed to be funny. I don't know because I could only read three pages. Double ugh.

Well, that was my week-end. I sat with a bottle of Door County Apple Wine and watched The Big Bang Theory for the hundredth time. Never gets old.

Little Pink Commie Houses

What happened to Magpie Tales!!!?

*****************

Why are people so afraid to open the biscuit cans? I don't think anyone has lost a hand from popping them open.

*****************

Ha!, I knew it was B.S. From Happenings magazine, Scott Lager gives up the scoop on speed reading.Normal reading is 200-230 words per minute. Some claim to be able to read 1000-2000 wpm but with 50% comprehension.

I remember watching one of those info shows where a young man claimed to be able to read 'War and Peace,' in an hour. Such a load of you know what.

***************

Oooh, it's heating up on Facebook over Trump vs. Hillary. I am appalled and frightened by the number of old neighborhood hoodies who love Trump. So sickening. I'm off FB after elections. Yes, I'm going to go, "Nyah, nyah, nyah nyah."

*******************

Speaking of the right. I'm a fan of John Mellencamp. I see he is going to be at the Chicago Theatre. I also just read Johnny is very, very, conservative. Damn. Now, do I go see him cause I do like his music, or, do I stay home and paint my nails because I will be thinking of him as he struts to Pink Houses as a narrow- minded....???

Damn.

Bloody Digits

Lately I have been dreading going to sleep. I've been having the most awful dreams. Many have been regarding sweet little animals who turn into raving maniacs. One was about some cute little thing who suddenly grabbed my thumb and started to bite. I could see my skin coming off and it was a bloody mess. I do dream in color which made it all the worse. I'm one who takes my dreams as a sign of something. Goofy, since I don't believe in a higher being, yet, I still wonder if we really have free will or are just a game to someone?

Anyhoo, I want to dream about George and me, or, flowers, candy....not bloody digits.

Maybe I'll watch Mary Poppins tonight.

More Jibber Jabber

Do you still buy magazines? I used to buy Vanity Fair and Martha Stewart, Living on occasion, but, ZOWIE! the prices of a mag is the same as buying a book.

****************

Do you think people who ignore what is happening on the political field are ignorant, or smart? I see several people refuse to look at any more info/ads... regarding the debacle of the century.

*****************

I really want to go to Paris. Oh, passport, passport...

Still loving the Big Bang.

Clowns. "Literally"

I haven't seen any. Course, I'm usually in my house before the dark. So, have you seen these clowns? As my three year old granddaughter likes to say, "Literally." I'm not sure about this yet. These clowns  are definitely taking a risk, especially in the backwater towns of America, where people don't take a shine to anything humorous. I also wonder if it is really happening at all, like those supposed razors in Halloween candy?

I say let it run its course. People will get bored.

Yeah, I think this is clever and hilarious.

Thingy, Elon and Aliens

Simulation hypothesis is really beyond my realm of intellect. I'm sort of guessing here on what this is...

Are the smart ones saying that we (Earthlings) are no more than an experiment, observed by alien creatures?

I have thought about this. Anyone with a brain has probably considered this, but, for this to be true...

YIKES!!!! Such a scary thought, but really, not impossible.

That is, if I am understanding this theory.

I found Elon Musk on an episode of Big Bang Theory. Zowie! He's sexy and super smart.

Here's the simulation-argument

Something to think about, I guess, unless we are just rats in a cage, then who gives a shit, yet, I do....

Here's Mud on Yer... What!?

Nordstrom's is selling mud jeans, for $425.00. What!? What!? I mean, what!? Really!? WHAT!?
