My Plate Is Full
Hey, everybody must be hibernating. I know I did yesterday. Too dang cold, and a storm is brewing, so posting may be spotty. I saw something that was rather informative and depressing and interesting, if you like food. Wisegeek.com has a segment on 200 calorie portions of some of your favorite foods.
Good news. You can eat a lot of broccoli, if you like that sort of thing. The peanut butter intake makes me sad, but look at all those crackers!
Speaking of food... I saw a news segment about a school that tried to instill a healthier option for the kids. They didn't go for it, so the school has stopped providing the greens and fruits. Most of the food was thrown out at the end of the day. I hate wasted food. Me-I don't mind leftovers, but, some people will not eat day old/week old, surprises.
Food allergies... What's with these kids, today? They have no immunity left, which reminds me to scold you youngin's about using that antibacterial crap. Just was your hands with regular soap. Better yet, go outside and eat some dirt. Not sure what 200 calories would look like, though.
